Thieves across the province are getting sneaky, when it comes to targeting the trucking industry, for its fuel.
Truckers are being warned to keep a close eye on their rigs and, to avoid refuelling at night.
Mary-Anne Arcand with the B-C Forest Safety Council says, diesel thieves are showing up at job sites, long-term parking lots and, even in the bush, where logging equipment is parked.
She says some crooks have even modified their trucks to look like service vehicles but, they actually carry large tanks and hoses used to siphon fuel from big rigs.
