The Fort Hotel will be torn down by the building’s owner. That was the concensus at last night’s city council meeting, after council was presented with the owner’s new demolition plan. Council had already declared the site a nuisance property, and were threatening the intitiate demolition themselves and bill the owner, were he not to comply with the order.
