There were a couple of Enerplex construction footnotes at last night’s City Council meeting. First, it was confirmed the contract for the refrigeration plant has been awarded to Fraser Valley Refrigeration. It will represent $3.5 million of the final construction cost.
Meanwhile, recent rumors about delays in obtaining steel have been addressed by the Director of Protective Services. Jim Rogers says the final allotments of steel began arriving this week and the rest are on the way.
