Stage North Actors win big at Provincial Event

Fort St. John’s theatre company, Stage North, won several awards at the Provincial competition, Mainstage.

Several Fort St. John actors spent the last week at Mainstage in Nanaimo showing off their work in two productions, "Legoland" and "American Buffalo".

Morris Holmes walked away with the award for Best Actor in the production of "American Buffalo".

Workshop play "Legoland" was recognized for Outstanding Ensemble work with Chalene and Zac Scott.

Chalene also received the Sid Williams Scholarship, recognition for her immense effort and work in support of the arts in the Peace. Cynthia Livingstone won the Diamond Award for Theatre BC’s "Citizen of the Year".
