BC’s best fastball action is happening here at Kin Park. Six teams have travelled here from around the province to vie for the top spot, and Fort St. John is in the running. The boys played earlier today starting at 11, taking on the Fleetwood Marlins. In a close game, the boys lost by just one run, dropping the first game 3-2. Fort St. John Fury pitcher Dane Pedersen threw a tight game, while the boys shook off their tournament jitters.
The boys also played today at 3 o’clock against Ft. Nelson; we’re still waiting on the outcome of that game but we’ll keep you posted over the tourney.
There are games going on all weekend at Kin Park, with the playoffs starting Saturday evening and finals on Sunday.
