Cariboo South MLA Charlie Wyse says the B.C. Cattlemens Association says the fuel tax alone will add 1,300 dollars in cost, for every 200 head of cattle.

Wyse says the new fuel tax is the equivalent of a 16 percent cut in support for Farmers and Ranchers and once the tax is fully implemented it will claw back nearly half of the exisiting support for the industry.
