Local Court Appearance

A 17 year old Edmonton boy, who faces a second degree murder charge, is expected to be back in Fort St. John court this week.

He’s currently being held in juvenile detention in Prince George and, his next scheduled appaerance is set for Wednesday.

He’s charged in connection with the May 18th stabbing death of a 17 year old Edmonton girl, whose body was found by the RCMP, in a Fort St. John apartment.

There have been reports the incident may have Alberta based gang and drug trafficking connections.

However, police are withholding all their investigative information and, there is also a court imposed publication ban in place.
