Fort St. John sold fewer properties in the first 6 months compared to last year at this time. The Northern BC Real Estate Board released its sales figures today for the first 6 months of this year. So far here in Fort St. John 388 properties have been sold worth 101 million dollars, compared to last year when 399 properties were sold for 100 million dollars. Dave Eaton is a local realtor with Remax Action Realty and is a board member of the Northern Real Estate Board, he believes it’s a buyers market now in Fort St. John

For the rest of the Northern BC it’s a different story as 2,500 properties were sold this year compared to last year’s 3,400 properties. In total 533 million dollars worth of property has been sold in Northern BC in first six months of the year
