One day after unveiling a project to conserve and protect water supplies, the Campbell government announced a plan yesterday to improve BC air quality.
It says 28 point five million dollars will be spent on more than two dozen efforts, to cut air pollution spewed by everything from wood stoves to big industry.
One initiative is the scrap-it program, which offers people up to two thousand dollars to take their pre-1993 vehicles off the road.
