RCMP Blocking roads due to flooding, power outages in Fort St. John

The RCMP have blocked 93rd Ave infront of the Enerplex due to the flash floods, and houses on 94rd ave near Sobey's are flooded.

RCMP are advising the public to avoid driving if possible.  

Over 5,000 people in various areas of the Peace area are without power. BC Hydro is estimating power will return at 11 PM tonight in most locations. For more information on specific areas check the BC Hydro map here.
