Haugan earns third cycling win

Chris Haugan can add another Blizzard Bike Club victory to his cycling resume. On a perfect Thursday evening, Haugan earned his third victory of the season, placing first in the Club’s Baldonnel time trial with a time of 26:23.

Finishing second of the evening was Barb Polehoykie, who crossed the finish line at 27:47, while Celeste Pakstas rounded out third at 28:08.

Pat Ferris placed fourth in the event with a time of 28:20, doing so while riding a mountain bike.

This Sunday, the Club will be holding its first Sunday mountain bike race of the season. The ride will begin at 10 p.m., beginning from the Cactus Trails.
