It was a special ride Thursday night, as Blizzard Bike Club rider Heather McCracken rode the Baldonnel time trial in under 30 minutes for her first time ever. She finished in fifth place with a time of 29:07.
Richard Wood won the time trial with a time of 26:50. He was followed by Pat Ferris five seconds behind at 26:55, Nicki Haugan in third at 28:04 and Davide Loro fourth at 28:45. The group was rounded out with Sam Keats in sixth place with a time of 29:09 and Dian Loro at 39:22.
In the 8 kilometre distance, Ty and Chris Haugan split first place sharing a time of 16:46. Sarah Webster came next at 20:52 and Tyler and Norma Webster crossed the finished line at 21:21.
This weekend, Bike Club triathletes will be in Stony Plain, Alberta for the Great White North Half Ironman Triathlon.
There will be no races in town Sunday.
