Snowfall warning issued for B.C. Peace

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the entire B.C Peace. Environment Canada says snow will start to fall tonight and we could receive up to 15cm by the end of Friday.

For Thursday, the region will still see a high of plus 10, but the temperature will drop tonight down to minus 1 before the snow starts sometime over night.

B.C. North Peace River issued

Heavy snowfall beginning overnight tonight.

This is a warning that significant snowfall is expected or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..listen for updated statements.

A Pacific frontal system is forecast to produce significant snowfall accumulations in the BC Peace River region. The snow will begin overnight tonight and will likely continue through much of Friday. 10 to 15 cm of snow can be expected by the end of Friday. There is also a risk of freezing rain during the overnight hours tonight and early Friday morning.
