SPCA hosting annual Halloween Howl

In just over three weeks one of the most enjoyable celebrations of the year will be upon us. Taking place Saturday, October 27, will be the 8th annual North Peace SPCA Howl’een Howl, a fun-filled costume party in support of the local animal shelter.

The party, being held at the Pomeroy Hotel, will feature music courtesy of Good Vibrations Music Service, along with refreshments and, of course, prizes for various costumes.

There are a limited number of tickets available, which can be purchased at the local SPCA shelter. Tickets cost $35 each and anyone interested in attending must be 19 years of age or older.

The event is also looking for volunteers to help ensure the evening runs smoothly, as well as corporate or individual sponsors, while also accepting donations of prizes.

Anyone looking for more information on sponsorship or to make a donation can contact the local SPCA shelter at 250-785-7722 or call Rosolynn at 250-262-7595.
