Dawson Creek RCMP and the Provincial Highway Patrol were busy this weekend, catching speeding and impaired drivers. Alcohol-related offences this weekend have 14 drivers now prohibited from driving, and their vehicles impounded.
They've each been prohibited from driving for up to 90 days, and their vehicles will stay in the impound lot for 3, 7 or 30 days.
Two other drivers received excessive speeding infractions, for driving over 40 kilometres an hour over the speed limit. Their vehicles were also impounded.
