This Canada Day, a group of local veterans and motorcycle enthusiasts will be celebrating by riding through the Peace Region. The 13th annual Thunder Ride will depart from Dawson Creek at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 1, arriving in Fort St. John at approximately 2 p.m. and ending in Taylor.
Once in Taylor there will be a barbecue, with all proceeds going towards veterans programs.
Although in the past there have been several activities planned for the event, this year organizers are focused on ensuring the Run itself is a success.
Late registration costs $20 at the Dawson Creek Mile Zero at noon on the 1st.
