The Dawson Creek RCMP has confirmed the male driver of a pick-up, believed to be in his thirties, died late last night, in a two vehicle crash south of Pouce Coupe.
Shortly after ten o'clock police responded to the crash reports, and their preliminary investigation revealed the pick-up crossed the centre line of Highway Two, near Blockline Road, and collided with a tractor-trailer unit.
The driver and a passenger in the big truck suffered only minor injuries.
Highway 2 remains closed at this time. According to Drivebc.ca, the road could open at 8:30 a.m.
